Developed with large-scale, high-efficiency applications in mind—particularly for railway infrastructure, flood protection, and deep foundation support—the KSI TWIN delivers twice the output in the same time, making it a perfect solution for time-sensitive and environmentally conscious construction projects.
What truly sets the KSI TWIN apart is its ability to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and working hours, while enhancing project speed and soil treatment efficiency. With its innovative dual-blade design, this technology improves soil mixing performance and reduces the need for multiple machine passes — saving time, fuel, and overall project costs.
Technically, the TWIN concept is based on the proven KSI technology, meaning all standard technical specifications remain unchanged. For example, the KSI 16000 TWIN retains its powerful hydraulic motor capacity of up to 300 kW, a chain speed of 2.0–2.5 m/s, and compatibility with 120–200 t excavators. The result is a reliable, adaptable, and high-output machine ready to handle the demands of modern construction.
The concept is also scalable across the full KSI range, making it possible to apply the TWIN system to smaller or larger models depending on the project requirements. It is ideal for foundation sealing, diaphragm wall construction, dyke and dam stabilization, and civil infrastructure development—including under-track railway trenching, where both speed and accuracy are crucial.
